Gusto ko Mainsure, Pero Takot ako Mascam

Lahat naman gusto ng security, kahit naman sinong tanungin mo if they can afford it, they want to get insurance to protect themselves from any life uncertainty. Kaso madaming reason why people fail to insure themselves and, in this article, I want to talk about their fear about being scammed.
Sun Life, AXA, Manulife and PruLife Uk, they are all legitimate companies. Those horror stories you are hearing, it is caused by the agents, it’s just when you file a complaint, these companies expect that you have read what you have signed for and of course, they cannot just take your word lalo na if you cannot present the proof.

So, if that is the case, what can you do to protect yourself from financial advisers who don’t really care about you?

It is simple. Just take into consideration these things I am about to tell you.

1.       You should know them personally.
a.       Parang kapag nag online ka sa Facebook, one of your most active friends is a financial adviser trying to connect to everyone so they can sell. Kesa kumuha ka ng policy from a stranger, why not set an appointment with someone you already know and talk to them about your concerns and your goals why you want to get insured.
2.       Someone who listens and cares
a.       Okay, so di purkit kakilala mo sila eh ibig sabihin, they are good financial advisers. In reality, even our friends may not be that competent or maybe, nakahyperfocus din sila sa sales or baka naman it isn’t just the right fit. Talk to as many financial advisers that you know until you find the person that will listen to you and someone na alam mo na sincere in wanting to help you secure your finances.
3.       Makes a recommendation based on your needs.
a.       I will let you in on a secret, financial advisers create the policy they serve you. Walang premade package, it is a lie. They have the capacity to make a policy based on your needs, if you sat down with a financial adviser and meron na silang dalang policy, insist you sign or get that policy and if you think it doesn’t match your needs, it is an obvious sign that, that agent, don’t really care about knowing what you need first, before making any recommendations. Should I explain further why?

Look for someone who will know you and your needs first before trying to sell you something.

Basically, these are the three things na hindi dapat mawawala when you are looking for a financial adviser. I don’t want to make this long but I hope this helps. If you want to get help in getting yourself insured and if you need someone to help you create a financial plan to align to your goals, feel free to send me a message and I will be more than happy to help.
